West Texas Significant Flooding Story
West Texas saw catastrophic flooding due to several rounds of heavy rain that drenched the area. Lauren pitched, shot, wrote, and edited this project.
Below highlights the work done by Lauren during her time providing the weather story to over 30 million viewers across the United States as a Broadcast Meteorologist at WeatherNation from 2022 to 2023. In addition to everyday broadcasts, Lauren produced, wrote, and filmed creative weather-related news segment during the "Dog Days of Summer". Her idea was to spread dog heat safety information while engage viewers through the television , news articles, and on multiple social media sites.
